You might say I arrived here backwards. I was inspired by a love of nature and wildlife before I actually picked up a camera. I love travelling to the world's last wild places, and you will always find me with the next big trip in mind.

I often prefer to drive myself, sleep in a tent, and ask directions the old fashioned way. I probably missed a lot of great shots because i was trying to drive the truck, but the feeling of freedom can't be replaced. I don't photograph animals in zoos or otherwise captive.

Most of the photos here are taken from my travels in Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana) and the South American rainforest (Brazil, Suriname, Ecuador, Panama, Costa Rica). I've also traveled extensively in the Rocky Mountains of the USA and Canada, the Florida Keys, and the islands of Indonesia and Thailand. I am based in Prague, Czech Republic.

I love all animals, but I have a special interest in birds and mammals with hooves.
